About Pastor Paul
Pastor Paul grew up in Northern Virginia within two hours of Talbot County and vacationed on the Eastern Shore.  He worked in a professional career for several years while he volunteered in a local church before being called to full-time ministry.  He served as an associate pastor for 8 years in Arlington, Virginia leading a ministry to a couple hundred young married couples and singles in their 20’s and 30’s. (Here's a link to an article by a leading Christian magazine about the ministry).  He then served as the senior pastor in a prominent evangelical church in New England for 8 years until he was called to be the lead pastor here at First Baptist Church in 2015.  Paul is passionate about God's word, the Gospel and people!  His heartbeat is to see unbelievers embrace Christ as their savior and believers encounter Him more deeply so that they are transformed and join God in His mission of showing and sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors and the nations.
