The Missions
Evangelism Committee is to plan all phases of the
Mission and Evangelism activities for the body of Christ here at
FBC. These programs include local missions, state missions,
North American missions, and International missions. It is the
desire of this committee to be an "On Mission Church" and to
promote missions throughout the Church through various mission
projects. Through much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit
our goals are:

Friendship
lunches taken to shut-ins the last Thursday of each month.
Contribute
financially to Child Evangelism Fellowship through our local
schools.
Collect 100
Migrant Health Kits each spring.
Contribute
financially to Choices Pregnancy Crisis Center.
Contribute financially to the local Christian Radio Station: Joy
102.5
Send birthday & anniversary cards to Friendship lunch people.
Continue involvement in school reading program at Easton
Elementary School during
normal School hours.
Church family contribute food, baby items,
toiletries, and cleaning supplies to the
Salisbury Christian Food Shelter.
Water Fall Festival Ministry: Free drinks, cookies, tracts, and
bracelets.
Church service for Migrant Ministry.
Distribution of Turkey and Ham Baskets during Christmas.

Collect old
eyeglasses and frames to be used by the International Missions
Board
Assist MOPS
with Operation Christmas Child
Plan a
minimum of one North American Mission Trip per year
Plan a
minimum of one International Mission Trip per year
Minister to
Baptist Student Ministry in Salisbury
Ocean City
Beach Ministry to International Students

Promote Mission Awareness through monthly Missionary Moments,
Newsletters, Promotional flyers, magazines, banners, etc..
Two months out of the Year will be dedicated to North American
(Spring) and International Missions (Fall).
